Meetings and group activities can take place outdoors or in a variety of indoor recreation halls.  Our 1000 seat Eddie Cantor Theater, which overlooks the lake, has a sophisticated light and sound system and is an excellent place for events and shows.  Our new state of the art 10,000 square foot gymnasium with scoreboard, bleachers, lockers, and showers can host a wide range of sporting activities.  Other recreational activities include Tennis, Beach Volleyball, Softball, Basketball, Fishing, Boating, Hiking, Arts & Crafts, and much more.  For an additional charge, other amazing programs can be added to the program, including Swimming, Boating, High Ropes, Zip Line, Low Ropes, team building games, and Climbing Tower .  Surprise Lake Camp is also proud of its Teva Learning Center —the premier Jewish environmental education program in the world. Teva is available to help with program design or to provide an educator to help staff your retreat.
